The process for getting your new all-ceramic dental crown is easy.

Click on each of the steps below to find out how you can get a new beautiful smile with dental crowns. If you have specific questions, we recommend you discuss them with your dentist.

1

Examination

Make an appointment and visit your dentist.

2

Preparation

Your dentist will prepare your tooth and provide you with a temporary dental crown until your all-ceramic one is ready.

3

Smile

Leave the dentist's office with a beautiful smile once your new dental crown is ready.

1

The first step to your new all-ceramic dental crown is an examination of your current situation by your dentist.

After deciding that the tooth crown is beyond repair and needs to be replaced with an all-ceramic crown, your dentist will proceed by preparing your tooth for a new dental crown.

2

Your dentist will prepare your tooth for your dental crown by reshaping it to make room for the crown. It’s very common you will receive local anesthesia during this reduction step. Your dentist then will take an impression of this area in your mouth.
In case you didn’t know, a dental impression is a “negative” copy of your mouth made using an elastic material; next a plaster or dental stone is poured into the impression in order to make an accurate copy of the mouth (or model).
After the model is made, your dentist will send it to a state-of-the-art production facility, where your computerized custom-fit, all-ceramic crown will be produced. Finally, your dentist will prepare a temporary dental crown for you, so you can eat normally while your final all-ceramic dental crown is being made.

3

Within a very short time, your dentist will receive your custom-made, all-ceramic dental crown. Your dentist will prepare your tooth for your dental crown by removing decay and reshaping it to make room for the crown.
Your dentist will then check that the final dental crown fits perfectly. When you’re satisfied with the result, your dentist will cement the dental crown on. That’s it... only three simple steps to your beautiful, brilliant new tooth.
